I decided that I want to go to college after being inactive from any form of school since 2005 (high school graduation). I feel sort of weird trying to just now get into college seeing as how I am 22 now, I feel sort of to old to be a freshmen but it’s just something I’m going to have to deal with.  I had originally planned to go to college about two years ago, but seeing as scholarships and good grades were not my main concern in high school.. (in fact they weren’t a concern at all) I blew any chance at getting any kind of financial aid.  So, basically when push came to shove I just couldn’t burden my dad with the financial strain to pay for me to go to a school that had cost so much money, while not knowing what I had in mind to do. Anyway, that’s the past. So yeah, I finally figured out what I want to do with my life ala Marine Biology. I want to help save the wetlands in Louisiana from coastal erosion and the school I plan to attend isn’t overly expensive so I feel I can pay for it, which garners all system go in my book.

For other news, I competed in a tae kwon do State Tournament this week, and won third in sparring and traditional forms for my belt color.  I can really give less of a fuck about my placement in traditional forms, but I really wanted Gold in sparring. Although on a more positive note it gives me something to work for next time, I guess. Still want Gold though…  Worse shit going on in life though.

I’m really annoyed at the superficial status of the world today, and the incredible focus on lives that do not affect your own. For instance, I enjoy listening to the radio because hearing people talk makes me comfortable at times when I get a bit lonely. However; what i do not enjoy is hearing about Miley Cyrus and her racy photos, or some other kind of celebrity. Honestly, why do you care if she took inappropriate photos, there’s 14-15 year old girls right now resorting to prostitution to feed their siblings or just to survive in general, but OH NOES MILEY CYRUS IS COVERED IN ONLY A BLANKED WITH NO NUDITY. Shut The Fuck Up. Yes, I’m sure she’s a role model and what not, but don’t use her as an excuse as to why your daughter seems like she is turning into a slut, that’s your department. Fix it. Fucking aye, The end.
